Think of your body as a house — and your symptoms as a fire. Seeking traditional healthcare is like calling the fire department. They’ll treat your symptoms with methods that may give you temporary relief, but at the same time will most definitely cause tremendous damage to the rest of your body. Of course the fireman will save your house from burning down, but will the house be suitable to live in afterward? Probably not.

You need a carpenter. Someone who will restore your house to its original state, and make it a place where you can live, thrive, and prevent fires from ever happening again. This is what a health restoration clinic does.

Dr. Jacqueline Berens, DC discovered her calling to chiropractic care at age fifteen through a personal healing journey. As a high-level gymnast sidelined by an elbow injury, she experienced firsthand the transformative power of chiropractic care when it returned her to competition in just two weeks after six months of unsuccessful traditional treatments. This pivotal moment sparked her lifelong commitment to natural, holistic healthcare.

A Colorado native, Dr. Jacqueline graduated with a Bachelor’s in Integrative Physiology from the University of Colorado at Boulder in 2008, followed by her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Life University in 2011, where she graduated Sum Cum Laude with top honors. Her pursuit of advanced solutions to complex health challenges was further inspired by her husband Paul’s struggle with chronic sinus issues. This personal experience led her to Dr. Patrick Flynn and The Wellness Way approach, which not only resolved Paul’s condition but also shaped her professional path.

As Head Doctor at The Wellness Way-Centennial, Colorado’s first and longest-standing Wellness Way franchise, Dr. Jacqueline has spent over eight years helping patients restore their health through comprehensive testing and personalized care plans. Her expertise extends to complex health challenges, including hormone imbalances, infertility, menopause, thyroid conditions, gut issues, weight gain, autoimmune issues, cancer, and more.

Committed to continuous learning, Dr. Jacqueline recently completed the prestigious certification in The Metabolic Approach to Cancer from the Metabolic Terrain Institute of Health, studying under world-renowned expert Dr. Nasha Winters, ND, FABNO. This advanced certification reflects her dedication to providing innovative solutions for complex health challenges.

When not transforming patients’ lives, Dr. Jacqueline cherishes time with her husband Paul and their children, Odinn and Declann. Her love for adventure extends beyond the clinic, where she enjoys traveling, camping, and embracing life’s fun moments.

At The Wellness Way-Centennial, Dr. Jacqueline combines her personal experience, professional expertise, and passionate commitment to help patients uncover the root factors affecting their health and restore their quality of life through natural, holistic approaches.

Dr. Amanda Krenz, ND is a Naturopathic Doctor and Associate Doctor at The Wellness Way. She is passionate about helping women reconnect with their bodies, address root causes of health issues, and experience real, sustainable healing.

Amanda was drawn to naturopathic medicine because it aligns deeply with everything she believes in—from individualized care to the healing power of nature to true prevention. She was fascinated by medicine growing up and always knew she wanted to work in healthcare. With a father who worked as a respiratory therapist, she was naturally drawn to the world of healing. As she explored different paths in medicine, it became clear that naturopathic medicine was the one that gave her the tools to treat the whole person and truly empower patients in their healing journey.

She earned her Doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from Bastyr University and brings a functional, root-cause approach to health. Amanda helps patients navigate hormone imbalances, PCOS, painful or irregular periods, endometriosis, fertility challenges, as well as skin and gut concerns. Her approach is down-to-earth, realistic, and deeply supportive. She meets patients where they are—without judgment—and focuses on giving them the tools and confidence to take charge of their health.

After running her own virtual practice, Amanda joined The Wellness Way because she craved collaboration and a like-minded team environment. Being part of a community focused on root cause healing, constant learning, and patient-centered care felt like coming home.

When she’s not working with patients, Amanda loves spending time with her fiancé, family, and dogs. You’ll often find her hiking Colorado mountain trails, browsing local farmers markets, reading, exploring new coffee shops, or diving deeper into herbalism. She also shares educational content through her platform, where she connects with a community passionate about hormone health, clean beauty, and wellness.

One of Amanda’s guiding principles is: “Consistency over perfection.” She believes lasting health doesn’t come from all-or-nothing thinking, but from small, intentional steps taken consistently over time. That’s where real transformation happens—and it’s the message she’s most passionate about passing on to her patients.
